About us!
Craigieburn School of Dance is a place for people of all ages to foster their love of dance and learn technical skills in an encouraging environment.
Established in 1994 CSD has continued to provide professional tuition to both recreational dancers and those who wish to embark on a professional dance career.
We offer tuition in Clasical Ballet,Fairy Ballet, Preschool jazz, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Adults classes. Students are instructed under the British Ballet Organisation Syllabus giving our students the opportunity to sit external examinations by an organisation recognised by the National Council of Dance. This can lead to students gaining teaching qualifications later in life. Examinations are not compulsory. The decision is left entirely to the parent and student once the teacher has indicated the student is ready. We also offer open classes to students wishing to take a different path in dance.
Classes are held at our purpose built Craigieburn Studio located at; 6/10 Lawn Crt Craigieburn 3064. Our studio has been purpose designed for dance - having wooden floors covered in tarquette, mirrors, ballet barres and acrobatics equipment.
We have two major performances - a mid year cabaret held at the Ferraro Reception and Function Centre and an end of year production at thePlenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre.
